Natural Medicine

What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is a holistic medical system that is underpinned by principles and practice that utilises different natural therapies to support healing and to maintain health. Modalities such as herbal medicine, nutritional medicine and supplements, homeopathy, hydrotherapy and iridology are all used to enable the best treatment outcome for you. Lifestyle, diet, emotional wellbeing, genetic predispositions, risk factors, environment, past medical history and family medical history are all considered when assessing your current state of health.

Naturopathy is based on a patient centered approach to health rather than focus on a disease. YOU are a whole person, not just a person with symptoms. The naturopathic approach gives you time to tell your health story and explain your journey and then supports you with education and treatments to enable your own body to start healing.

The underlying principles are based on the healing power of nature, doing no harm, addressing the underlying causes for your symptoms, treating the whole person, education and preventative health. With these principles we work together with you to establish a good grounding to improve your health, remove or reduce factors that could be contributing to your state of health and provide all the support you need to stay healthy and vital!

Degree trained naturopaths have an evidence based approach to treatment which is founded in science with the additional benefit of also being trained in traditional naturopathic practices such as iridology, homeopathy and hydrotherapy.

Naturopathy focuses on you and helps you to balance your health naturally.

Nutritional Medicine

Nutritional medicine assesses the interaction of nutrition and environment on health and wellness. Nutrients such as fats, carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, minerals and of course, water are the fundamental building blocks of all biological processes within the human body.

Homeopathic medicine is used by over 200 million people worldwide for treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Homeopathy utilises highly diluted, specific substances administered with the aim of triggering the body's own self healing mechanisims.
